You can now send requests and questions to 311 via Twitter. Sign up, if you are a new user, and then follow Anaheim311 to get started.
Twitter is a free social networking tool that allows users to send and read messages of up to 140 characters via text (SMS) or twitter.com.
In order for 311 to begin receiving your requests, follow Anaheim311 as outlined above. Once Anaheim311 receives the request, Anaheim311 will request to follow you in order to establish a 2-way communication. The 2-way communication (you follow Anaheim311, and Anaheim311 follows you) should be established first to communicate directly with Anaheim311 via a direct message.
Texting a Request
Send a message request to Anaheim311 by texting “d Anaheim311” followed by your service request to 40404.
Customer service representatives are available Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Please note that Twitter is a 3rd party application that is not controlled by the City. A disruption to Twitter.com will impact Anaheim 311 receiving your direct message. Unfortunately, the City cannot guarantee the availability of Twitter or the response time.
