Lobbyist Registration and Disclosure Reports

The City Council of the City of Anaheim adopted Ordinance No. 6417  requiring an individual or entity who receives compensation of $500 or more in a calendar month for lobbying the City of Anaheim, or any regional agency in which Anaheim has a voting role, must register with the City Clerk as a lobbyist.

To determine if you are required to register as a lobbyist, you may review the lobbyist regulations in Ordinance No. 6417, Chapter 1.11 of the Anaheim Municipal Code, Sunshine Provisions. A full copy of the ordinance is available here.

Lobbyist Registration Information


All Lobbyists must register, by filing a Lobbyist Registration form, with the Office of the City Clerk within fifteen (15) days of lobbying the City of Anaheim or any regional agency in which Anaheim has a voting role. Lobbyist Registration Fee

Lobbyist are required to submit a Registration fee of $100.00. Fees are due with submission of the completed Lobbyist Registration form and are payable to the City of Anaheim by check, money order, or debit/credit card.
 

Lobbyist Quarterly Reports 


Lobbyists/Lobbying Firms will be required to file a report with the Office of the City Clerk, on a quarterly basis, disclosing any lobbying of the City of Anaheim or any regional agency in which Anaheim has a voting role, as well as report any campaign contributions made during the reporting period to the Mayor or any City Council Member.

Late submittal of Lobbyist Registration Form and/or Quarterly Report may result in a late filing penalty of $50.00.
